My Project

First grade is such a phenomenal time! So much learning and growth happens in the span of ten months. To reward all of their hard work, my class earns Fun Friday. They get to play, build, create, and laugh with each other every single Friday. This free time helps them explore and develop crucial social and emotional learning skills such as sharing, active listening, imaginative thinking, flexible thinking, and turn taking.

Your donations will help purchase new building toys, board games, and puzzles for a first grade class in a growing public school in Queens.

My students and I will greatly appreciate the items, and I know they will be put to good use every single Friday for years to come!
