My Students

My students are thoughtful, creative, and eager to learn! They are learning how to become leaders in our classroom and in the community.

Every day is a new learning experience in first grade!

The students are learning to read, write, count and care about one another.

Each child is unique with special gifts and challenges. In my classroom, I strive to create hands-on experiences to meet each child's needs and provide an educational experience that we all can learn from. We love to celebrate our big and little successes each day!

My Project

These materials will be used in the classroom to reinforce math concepts. We will use them in small groups to review or reteach skills. The snap and slide number bonds will help the students to learn and practice addition facts. The instant learning centers will provide hands-on activities that will help the students to practice time, geometry, addition, fractions, and other concepts. Working in small groups helps them to work with their peers on a smaller level and gives the teacher a chance to pull students out to work individually.

The gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase lessons and ideas to use to supplement our math curriculum.
