My Students

My first grade students are creative, thoughtful, full of energy and have lots of questions! They love hands-on, active, engaging projects that challenge their minds and abilities.

My students are curious and eager to learn in new and hands-on ways.

They are happy and caring and really make my job fun.

Teaching first grade students is challenging, but they are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

Many students are playing catch-up during COVID-19. These activities will allow them to learn necessary skills that they may have missed during classroom shut-downs.

The use of computers on a daily basis and providing headphones will allow the students to work at his/her pace without distractions.

We use math and phonics online learning activities on a daily basis.

The activities will be a great way for the students to interact with classmates while learning and practicing first grade curriculum. Hands-on games help to reinforce the skills that we are working on.

First Graders are always on the go and like to keep their minds as well as their hands busy while learning.
