Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fifth graders who are full of energy. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different environment.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds.

They love reading diverse books, participating in hands on math activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious.

I have a large population of English language learners. They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. . They are all amazing kids!

My Project

My students are in need of basic supplies for our daily activities: paper, colored pencils, markers, dry eraser markers and lysol wipes and spray to keep us healthy.

A dry erase board is essential for our daily lesson, especially math as we learn about addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and money!

The board will make it easy for students to see the examples no matter where they are sitting, and they will be able to come up and work out problems as well.

Paper is our most need items as we print out practice sheets and manipulatives such as money!
