Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We will like to have our first annual family Math night at our school this school year. I am helping our family liaison put on a great event and there are items that would make it an even better event than we pictured.

The games will be used for math fun with parents and their children and the snacks will be put out on tables in nice decorated fashion.

These mini cupcakes will be set out for all to enjoy since it is a night event at school. These are the perfect size to share with all who come join us. The extra games will help our families learn more about math because there is no STEM without Math! Many games will also help include the younger siblings, so they can start liking math earlier. All of these items will help build confidence and love for math within our whole school community. We have 750 kids attending in grades 6-8th this year and we are hoping to have a great turn out for our first math night. Thanks for helping to support this night! I appreciate your generosity and love for our school and kids.
