My Students

All School is a valued tradition at our school. Every week, the entire student body, grades PreK through 12, and faculty comes together to celebrate another successful week of learning both in and out of the classroom. The school community participates in House Competitions to earn points for the annual House Cup.

Our school is located in the center of the city and serves 625 students from the city itself and surrounding towns.

Our school's magnet theme is Social Justice and 100% of our graduates go on to four-year colleges.

My Project

Our entire student body would benefit from the sports equipment we are requesting as it would be used in our weekly All Schools. The purpose of All School is to build community among students at all age levels (pre-k-12) and faculty. All School builds a family-like atmosphere in our school and provides us with opportunities to showcase our successes and talents. Each week, the student government plans activities to engage the community in competitions and experiences. Teams of students and staff compete in a variety of activities to earn points for their House. Competitions are active and require collaboration and problem-solving skills. In the past, we have made the supplies for the games or used the gym equipment. The materials we are requesting would allow our Student Government to plan a wide variety of games and activities to match the interests and requests of our student body. These games include, but are not limited to, soccer, football, basketball, kickball, and volleyball. Other activities include relay races, scavenger hunts, and minute-to-win-it games. The soccer balls, footballs, bowling set, tennis balls, volleyballs, and ping pong balls would be used for the activities mentioned above and also any other creative ideas the kids can think to invent!
