Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class love to express themselves in all sorts of ways. Utilizing their white boards is one of their favorites.

My students are a group of little people who have some very big ideas.

They enjoy sharing and discussing the many things they know and have seen. Because my school is in a predominantly low economic area, students' experiences are mostly learned through some type of media or perhaps a story shared by a family member or friend. But once they learn it, they love to own it. They love to discover new things and figure out how to do stuff.

My Project

The dry erase markers my students will be using are essential to be able to write on a dry erase board, or white board. There's only one kind of marker and they dry out; especially if they're used a lot, and my students get to use their boards and markers often. Whether its math, writing, science, art, or just for fun all students enjoy and explore with markers and boards.

By assuring my students that they will not have to worry about the supplies they need to accomplish their goals, pushes away a lot of unwanted stress.

Less student stress means a quieter and calmer classroom.
