My Project

These tools and materials will help my students learn to get comfortable and confident in expressing themselves, allowing them to grow their abilities to tell their own stories and advocate for themselves. By creating a warm and cozy atmosphere, we can help lower anxiety levels and focus on the important elements of reading and learning. Having the appropriate resources will also allow students of all ability levels to learn and connect without anxiety or distraction.

With these new tools, my students will have access to a wide range of diverse forms of expression that will catch their interest and spark their storytelling abilities.

The best way to increase writing ability is with practice, practice, practice. And the best way to get students to practice is to provide them the tools they need to express themselves creatively, as well as a safe, comfortable place to use them. My students are already developing interest in writing and storytelling, and I want to keep that momentum going!
