Falcons Soar to College: Decision Day

My Project

My senior class consists of 375 students, all with the dream to pursue their educational and career goals after graduation. Over the past several months, over 92% of our students have submitted their college applications, and by the end of the year, they will all have graduated with a plan to either attend a 4-year university or a community college, join the military, or work towards their desired career path. We hope to have the ability, through DonorsChoose, to provide our students with different resources needed for post-graduation. These items will prepare our students with the proper transition from high school to college. With the majority our students being from economically disadvantaged home, these items would take an emotional weight off of them to allow them to perform to their highest potential on their next steps of their educational journey.

Over 98% of our student population are economically disadvantaged and come from a minority background.
