Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My senior class consists of 380 students all with the dream to pursue their educational and career goals after graduation. Over the past several months, over 80% of our students have submitted their college applications, and by the end of the year, they will all have graduated with a plan to either attend a 4-year university, a community college, join the military, or work towards their desired career path.

Over 98% of our student population are economically disadvantaged and come from a minority background.

Santee's Decision Day is an event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating our seniors for all the hard work they've put in throughout high school and the college application process.

With an iPad, backpack, a dorm package, and more we will be able to hold a raffle during our free 2024 decision day event! These donations will give our college-bound students the tools they need to succeed and focus on their education. Through this celebration and raffle, our seniors will be motivated and ready to take on their next chapter!
