Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so inquisitive and eager to learn! Every week, the students come to the library to engage in literature, research, and technology use. I strive to make the library a place where students can build a love of reading and learning.

The library belongs to all of us.

I want my students to have the best resources they can to explore the world beyond our walls! They can do that through reading, writing, technology, discussions, hands-on activities, and more!

My Project

My students love when they can make real connections to literature. Exposing students to great stories and then having them bring those stories to life is exciting and valuable for them. The students already have the STEM Fairy Tale Kit 1, which has been full of so much fun and authentic learning.

My students would love a new set of STEM Fairy Tale stories and challenges to explore.

With each kit enabling 3-4 students to stay engaged, it would be so beneficial to get another set to allow even more students to practice their STEM skills after reading. Not only will another kit provide more opportunities for new engineering challenges and collaboration with peers, but it will also expose them to even more stories! They've loved the first set and now we can't wait to get the last set!
