Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A class set of National Geographic Almanacs for Kids (2025) will be used in the library for curriculum instruction purposes. Students will learn how to use an almanac to find information. They will learn how to use the Table of Contents, nonfiction text features, and the Index.

The National Geographic Kids Almanac can also be checked out by students and read as a fun book of facts.

It is full of bright colorful pictures of animals, countries, planets, flags and more. Students will love looking through it and learning many new interesting facts.

The Almanac set in the library is fifteen years old, paperback and falling apart. Please help us attain a new set.
