Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, students are mathematicians, artists, readers, and writers on any given day. When I asked my students what a day in the classroom is like, this is what stood out the most: "I appreciate that you push us to work hard and follow our dreams." This message is even more important as we are returning to school after an almost two year hiatus.

Creating a warm, welcoming classroom environment is one step towards making students feel special.

Students should be in an environment made just for them and feels like a second home as they spend more time at school than at home.
