This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This time of year comes with many challenges. Not only are the holidays upon us, but before we know it, it will be crunch time. Fifth graders in Miami, Florida take four standardized tests. We prepare our students for a writing, reading, math and science assessment. So in addition to working hard to prepare for all the tests, we need some down time. When possible, we enjoy some indoor recess and games. We have used up all our supplies from the beginning of the year. We can really use the replenishment to motivate and keep us focused on our goals.
