My Project

The SD 7th grade life science standard (MS LS1-3) is to show how the body is a system of interacting subsystems composed of groups of cells. There are pre-printed t-shirts that allow students to color their own human body systems. The coloring of these shirts would be a great hands-on integration and culmination project for our students. They can collaborate to identify organs, organ systems, and make the connections from one system to another. To make this project happen, special fabric markers are needed so the students' hard work will not easily wash away.
