My Students

I teach 26 general education, ENL kindergarteners. Our class is comprised of students of all different learning abilities, languages, and experiences. Many of my students come from families who are new to the country and many of these young learners are coming to school for the first time to learn to speak, understand, read, and write English. I also have students who receive services for speech and OT. My students come from varied backgrounds with different economic needs. These Kindergarteners are eager learners who want to succeed!

My Project

Our Kindergarten students have been learning using a hybrid model this year. Between being in person once or twice a week and the school being shut down for COVID the children have spent many many hours on a computer screen. We are finally getting back into the school building for 5 days a week of in person learning! In order for the children to see our modeled work, not on a computer screen, or smart board, an easel is a perfect instrument to use. Help us so we can use it for the remainder of the school year and it will be in place for us to use in September!
