Help Mr. Heinrichs

I teach 6th grade science and am the science department chairperson for my school. My school is an inner city school in which 81% of our kids are from low income families. Many come from single parent families as well increasing numbers of kids raised by grandparents. Many families also live in combined households with extended families. These kids do not have the same opportunities as most kids do

We have impact goggles to protect students from solid objects that may strike students' faces during science activities. If we are to conduct experiments with liquids, the students are not protected.

I am in need of a classroom set of 30 splash goggles that can be shared by all three science classes. These goggles are OSHA certified and will provide protection to students when working with liquids.

Your donations will give students a chance to experience a well rounded curriculum that will enhance their learning and better prepare them for the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) which is a very important assessment tool for schools.
