This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's the start of a new year and time to re-up on incentives and birthday treats for my very loved students. This year I plan to do things a little differently, and instead of using incentives to promote good behavior, I want to use it more as a thank-you for participating and being a part of my small group. With my new role as an ESL teacher, I will be providing instruction in a smaller setting for English Language Learners.
It's important to me to make my students feel special, and pick me-ups like candy and small incentives are awesome ways to achieve that.
I believe it will help make them excited about coming to learn with me and brighten their day, even in the smallest way.
