After a great career in the paper industry I am now teaching health and physical education in a public school in Maine. I teach the freshman class health and phys ed and see a great need to provide the teenagers with as much knowledge as possible in order to make better decisions in their life. My goal is to appeal to all the students and not just the varsity athletes. In order to do this I have introduced new sports like snowshoeing, fly fishing and many new individual sports that everyone can participate in for life. We work with the local community in many of our activities and after 3 years, the students are starting to embrace more life skill training and less structured sport training.

The students love to see themselves in action and document their high school years. We do a lot of fun activities and documenting them will help spread the word about why staying active for life is so important. We have a school run TV station and the camera will allow us to document our activities and show the community more of what we are all about.

With the addition of a camera that is the property of the physical education department we can allow different students to document the activities and bring phys ed to life. Pictures are worth a thousand words and the camera will be a tool that is used in every class.

We will be starting a student driven outing club next year and nothing recruits new people more than pictures of young people having fun without drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. Help me empower a new generation of children that someday will run this great country. Thank you for your support.
