My Students

The students in my class are a diverse group with different academic and social/emotional needs. I try to provided a variety of learning opportunities including independent, small group, and one-to-one instruction.

There are 19 students in my class, each with their own unique skills, creativity, and abilities.

They are full of energy and enthusiasm. They enjoy learning and get really excited when I introduce new activities, so I try to change things up and keep things novel.

My Project

Because the students in my class are at such different levels, I am doing more small group instruction to meet their needs. The students who are not working with me are given independent work. When students are finished, they are allowed to read on the rug. We used to have beanbag chairs, which the students LOVED! The math boards would be ideal for struggling students to increase their skills in math and help the other students review. We need speakers for our class computer so that students are able to hear the morning Brainpop Jr. better.

This donation will increase learning opportunities for the students in my classroom.

It will allow me to continue to provide more individual and small group support while other students are enjoying educational activities.
