My Students

My students come from a rural, agriculture town. They have developed strong work ethics helping their families on their farms. Some of these wonderful students go straight home from school to assist their families with their agriculture business. These students are always eager to work and help in the classroom with little to no complaining.

These wonderful students love hands-on and cooperative learning.

They are willing to give everything their best effort, inside and outside the class. Learning is fun whenever these students are around and they make my job seem effortless!

My Project

Literacy is an important subject, no matter what the subject is! Students will be life long learners and readers, regardless of their career path. Science is all about exploring and experimenting, but it is also about reading and researching.

My students need more materials outside of regular classroom textbooks to make connections in the world beyond the four walls of school.

Scholastic News subscriptions will be used to enhance classroom content as well as explore new concepts. Students will also have opportunities to engage in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and produce high quality projects for deeper learning.
