This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Extra, Extra, Read All About It! My students would greatly benefit from a subscription to TIME for Kids. I have used it in the passed, and it's a wonderful resource for learning current events and important events happening in the world. With a weekly subscription, we can tie in current events with our ELA and math lessons. Students will be able to work together or read independently. I also really love the interactive assignment that's provided. It makes sure students stay on target and understand what they are reading. Please consider donating to our project.
