Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year we are pioneering a new school newspaper and we are so excited! This post-pandemic group of students has been challenged in their writing, and social awareness, so we hope that this new class will encourage them to be confident in expressing themselves and creative in making content for their fellow students to enjoy. These supplies will help the students stay organized as they are given new projects weekly. Lanyards will be made so they can feel like true reporters with their notebooks around the campus. We are a Title I school, we believe offering courses such as leadership and journalism at this grade level will quickly boost the confidence in our students and we will see growth in their other classes and in their personal lives. Thank you for partnering with us not only in educating but postvely impacting this generation.
