Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We strive to keep extra clothing available for students who have accidents or get muddy during the day, as some parents are unable to leave work to bring in a change of clothes. While we make every effort to maintain a supply of donated items, there are times when we fall short, which can disrupt the students' comfort and focus. By ensuring we have enough spare clothes, we can prevent unnecessary distractions, helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning throughout the day.

The goal of this project is to ensure that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to clean and comfortable clothing, which in turn supports their ability to learn and thrive.

My students are unique in their resilience and creativity, and providing them with the resources they need—such as extra clothing—will empower them to fully participate in all activities without worrying about accidents or being uncomfortable.
