Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 23 amazing and academically gifted elementary scholars. They enter my classroom with big smiles, are happy, and ready to learn. Many students that come to our school do not speak English. We also have exceptional students included in our class.

We are a Global Magnet Title I school serving 65% of low-income families who speak limited English.

We offer Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to our students. Our school also serves families whose parents work multiple jobs to help make ends meet.

My Project

Academically intellectually gifted students in third through fifth grades need lots of engaging and creative activities. I want to bring out the creativity in all my students by including STEM, math, reading, and critically thinking activities. This program will be used for remote learning as well as working in groups at school.

The projects and activities will get the students to think outside of the box.

They will also have the opportunity to work remotely as well with their families at home which will be exciting for the students.

Thanks in advance for helping my students increase their creativity and thinking abilities in all subjects.
