Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Today, students have such much to complete and learn with little time to fully express themselves through art. A lot of emphasis is placed on ELA & Math for them to push forward but that is not for every child. Kids LOVE art, doodling, painting, sketching and expressing themselves through channels. They are not given enough time throughout their week to zone in our their other talents. My students deserve this and so much more!! You never know where the next Picasso, Basquit, or Kusama and beyond may be living.
