My Students
I love my students! I teach a 3rd grade ENL (English as a New Language) class in a Title I school in the lower east side of Manhattan. The demographics of my students are Asian-American and Hispanic. Their levels range from expanding to commanding and they are all becoming very proficient in the English language.
My students come to school each and every day filled with energy and excitement about learning.
They are a unique, compassionate and driven group of curious children who I love to provide with the most engaging and effective materials to help them reach their highest potential.
My Project
These materials make a difference for my students because not only will they be able to take a few minutes of each day to relax and paint, but I will also be able to use these materials for many projects that we have coming up. Since the students have been learning at home for so long, I would like to give them opportunities to dive into art.
Through art, students can display and express feelings.
These materials will make a huge difference in back to school learning for the students in my class.
