My Project

I'm a school social worker who works with special education and general education students in an elementary school. I will use the SEL tools from this project to help my students learn to express their emotions appropriately. Many of my students come from difficult family situations and dangerous environments and have a difficult time coming to school and concentrating on their academics. Evidence has shown that SEL can help children thrive personally and academically, develop and maintain positive relationships, become lifelong learners, and contribute to a more caring, just world.
