Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Although our school is in a low income community, our teachers strive to give our students the best education possible. We research and find innovative new approaches to teaching.

Every single child in my classroom has a positive attitude towards learning and works as hard as they can to improve themselves.

Most of my students have not been given any opportunity to see past the few mile radius between school, home and the grocery store. I would love to give them a fun learning environment and more exposure to different opportunities that this world can offer them through a solid education.

My Project

Technology is a huge part of the 21st century and many career opportunities have been opened because of technology.

Although most of us have been using this kind of technology for years, many of these students have not had that opportunity.

My students come from low income communities. With these chromebooks, my students will be properly be equipped to use technology in and out of the classroom setting. I want to help provide them with opportunities to explore pathways my students and their parents never saw possible. Technology will help open these doors for them.
