Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are so many benefits to having legos inside an early childhood classroom. Legos will help our kindergarten friends strengthen their language skills, social-emotional skills, and fine motor skills.

We will integrate our class legos during our stem lessons and daily choice time!

We will use legos to explore building structures in their communities and in the world. We will explore measurement with the use of legos. In small groups, students will work together or independently to create with legos.

These materials will allow students to re-create communities that they know and want to visit, and engage in discussions about emotions with lego people and lego blocks.
