My Project

Third grade is the year that students switch from learning how to read, to reading in order to learn. Help give the third graders at my school extra reading materials directly connected to our unit titled Our Solar System and Beyond."

My third graders love to ask questions and many times those questions are not addressed in our curriculum, but with these books, they will have the chance to research and discover on their own!

By having many different books that go along with what we are learning about in our language arts class, they will have the opportunity to dive deeper into what we are reading about as a class.

This project will give each third grade classroom at my school a set of the same books so that no matter which class a student is in, they will have the same opportunity to read and discover on their own!

Ms. Wilson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 24.
