My Students

Supplies are very important for our 21st century learners. In order to be productive in Mathematics our students must have the proper materials to create, learn, and solve math in our classroom. The ability to be able to solve math in a neat fashion requires my students to understand and love the math that they learn.

My students are very creative and intuitive mathematical thinkers.

They love to be able to work out and solve problems by technology and share their understanding with one another. When it is time for them to produce, they want the best work and when that best work is not given, they struggle with the knowing that it is supplies that keep them from being able to produce high achieving work.

My Project

Living in a society where math, science, technology, and engineering is very important, we must prepare our 21st Century learners for their future careers. In order to do so we must allow these students to practice STEM projects so they become familiar.

STEM materials will allow my students from low income areas to use their creative skills to produce products that will encourage their future.

These materials will allow my students to create, design, and understand how STEM is important and how it is used in their future career paths. It will expand their horizons and allow them to be creative and extend their thinking beyond what they could ever imagine.

By donating, we will be using the materials such as the planting pots and crystal growing kit to show how geometry, statistics, and nature are used in STEM and used in many careers. Students will use the paper provided to create a portfolio of what they have designed. Students will use the earbuds along with an iPad to effectively view videos and tutorials to create their designs.
