Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are curious, imaginative, and eager to explore the universe! This project will bring space learning to life, fueling their excitement with hands-on activities, engaging books, and real-world observations.

Through this project, I hope to bring the wonders of space to my students with engaging books, puzzles, a high-quality telescope, and interactive building sets.

These resources will allow my young learners to observe the night sky, build models of rockets and astronauts, and explore the planets and stars through stories and hands-on activities.

The Gskyer Telescope will allow students to see the Moon’s craters and planets up close, making space feel real and tangible. LEGO space sets and 3D puzzles will give them the opportunity to engineer their own space missions while developing problem-solving and collaboration skills. The carefully selected books about the solar system, constellations, and space exploration will provide them with rich, accessible information that sparks curiosity and expands their vocabulary.
