Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd grade classroom is a place where students are challenged and inspired to succeed. Throughout the year, students are learning foundational skills in language arts and math. Students are learning how to apply their knowledge that they are learning to the real world around them.

My 3rd graders have such an excitement when it comes to learning.

They are highly motivated students. Their main goal is to become educated students. They understand that what they are learning is to better themselves and to prepare them for college.

My Project

Scholastic news will make a huge difference in students' learning because students will be able to read about real life events. This will allow students to make connections between their learning and the world around them. Students will also be able to see what other students think about the topics that they are reading about by participating in the online scholastic votes.

Students always love science.

Through Scholastic News/Science Spin, students will be able to read and experiment with science. Students will learn about life science, environmental science, and health.

iPads are a great addition to our classroom. Students will have more options as far as doing online research in the classroom. iPads are very user friendly for 3rd graders. They will be used for academic centers in which students can make further explorations. iPad covers will allow our iPads to stay in great shape.
