My Project

The goal of this project is to engage students in active, hands-on learning through an interactive pyramid-building activity that enhances their understanding of Ancient Egyptian culture and history. This will support our Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) curriculum by incorporating visual, tactile, and collaborative elements to reinforce key concepts from our unit on Ancient Egypt.

While the CKLA curriculum offers a comprehensive educational framework, students thrive when given opportunities for interactive, tactile learning.

By integrating figurines, animal sorting activities, and flexible seating, we can create an enriched classroom environment that encourages exploration, critical thinking, and comfort. Hands-on materials will support students' understanding of animals and habitats, while flexible seating options will increase engagement and comfort during reading sessions.
