This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

High school students are no strangers to the world of technology around them. With the digitation of their growing world, they understand that access to the world becomes instant when they turn on their device. However...for many students in Title I public schools having a phone is a luxury, having a laptop for many is out of reach.

This issue is that many educational programs for history are becoming digitized and there is a world of programs that my students are not gaining access to.

While some students can use their phones, there are always a few students who feel left out in many activities.

By contributing to our classroom laptop, you are giving these students the ability to learn and experience lessons with their classmates.
