Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my math classes engage in taking notes and having in-depth conversations about the concepts they learn. My students use their notes as a resource to advance their learning and they also learn how to utilize their notes as they explore and practice new concepts.

My students understand that success in high school requires effort and organizational skills.

Due to budget cuts one of my biggest challenges is making sure that all students have the required materials for class such as the requested graphing notebooks.

Your donations will ensure that students in my class each have a graphing notebook of their own. Students will create an interactive notebook containing a compilation of notes, activities, and reflections around the material learned throughout the school year.
