Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to provide my TK students with engaging, hands-on art experiences that foster creativity, fine motor skills, and early spatial awareness. By using colorful tape, stickers, and cardstock paper, students will explore patterns, layering, and design while developing their ability to express themselves artistically. These materials will encourage experimentation and problem-solving as they create unique, tactile compositions.

What makes my students special is their boundless curiosity and eagerness to learn through play.

As young learners, they thrive when given opportunities to explore materials in an open-ended, imaginative way. Many of my students are experiencing structured art-making for the first time, and this project will give them the tools to build confidence in their creativity. With your support, they will develop not only artistic skills but also a love for self-expression that will carry into all areas of their learning.
