This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in AP Calculus gain a solid understanding of concepts in calculus by graphing and visualizing the math. In order to accomplish this, they use the applications within the TI-84 graphing calculator to understand limits, instantaneous rate of change, and area under a curve beyond the rote memorization of strategies. They can focus on interpreting and analyzing results, ultimately making them strong communicators of the calculus concepts.

My students cannot always afford these calculators and therefore I need calculators to loan out to my lowest income students to help them be successful in AP Calculus.
