My Project

Our students are excited to come to art class and try their hand at various techniques but they don't often see connections between art they see in the real world and themselves. Additionally, many art programs are skewed toward European "master artists" - which leaves out the majority of the world's cultures. Art helps to understand self and the world around one's self.

This subscription will allow art to come alive to our students, as seeing themselves and other cultures in art is an incredible and important experience.

Another advantage to making this available, is the opportunity for students to READ about art, art techniques, art history, and world cultures that influence what we see around us.
