My Project

This Goal Zero off-grid power system will allow my students to explore how well battery systems work when used to provide power in off-grid situations. I would like to be able to offer my students the opportunity to explore this concept with hands-on activities and envision student-designed experiments be completed with this system.

In this age of fossil fuel dependency and Global Warming awareness, the question of how well off-grid systems actually work often comes up when we are discussing power systems and energy storage options, This battery system would be an ideal real-world tool we can use to explore the concept in depth.
