Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need lots of movement and being able to create an outdoor classroom would be an important component when teaching the whole child. The outdoor classroom would allow a spacious place to explore while being connected to nature.

Outdoor classrooms provide a variety of learning experiences for each student's individual needs.

Students will be able to engage in activities that would not be possible in a traditional classroom such as bird watching and gardening. I believe that having an outdoor classroom is a unique way to bring learning alive!

This project is for a bench, an outdoor rug, and a picnic table.
