My Students

This year I am teaching Science to k-5. My students are always curious and always eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. Some of my students come from disadvantaged neighborhoods and have very limited knowledge of science materials and tools.

We will use supplies through donorschoose.org in our classroom daily to develop and enhance their science skills.

As we all know, the enthusiasm for science starts at a very young age. My dream is to provide them with all the necessary tools and expose them to different types of materials we can use to learn about science topics.

My Project

My students have a knowledge about the use of a microscope and the purpose of a microscope but they have never seen an actual one. My students, especially my SpEd and language learners would benefit from this science tool. It will give them a wider understanding of what it means to look through lenses.

With the help of a microscope, I will be able to enhance their learning and will give them a clear understanding of what it truly means to look through a lense to observe microscopic objects.

I want my students to become independent thinkers and life-long learners.
