This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project was highly requested by our newcomer ELs. They are into Anime and would like to have more diverse graphic novels in the classroom library.
Our newcomer ELs highly requested to add Japanese Anime/Mangas to further enjoy and read about their favorite characters and encourage others to partake.
Our library would like have different books from different cultures and have our students embrace Japanese culture and ideas by sharing the love of reading. These sharable moments is a great way for our ELs to enjoy reading and recommend books to current and future students.
