My Students

My first-grade class comes from a diverse background. They comprise of English Language Learners to students that need extra academic help to a group of super soaring students who are always ready for an extra challenge. My class of fun-loving firsties loves to do group work. Whether it is solving math problems together or describing the characters they are reading about. My little ones work best when they are building each other up. I see it building community in our classroom and helps to build confidence in the students.

My Project

Our hardworking printer has left us. It has been loyal to us for most of the school year. A printer would help the class so much. My group of 29 come from different backgrounds. They all have different needs. Help us get this printer and ink so I can provide different tasks for the students. My ELLs can benefit from printed scaffolds to help them learn the language. My SWDs can benefit from personalized graphic organizers and table charts. My soaring super stars can get tasks that can challenge them to the max. The printer would also come in handy when I need to communicate with parents.
