My Project

I am a 7th/8th grade Science teacher at a small school in Montana. While we have a great school, we have not been able to update our science department supplies in a very long time. I do not want my student's only experience in science to be reading from a book! I want them to have as much hands-on learning as possible. Our school just does not have the funds we need to create a science lab that will deepen my student's learning.

We are planning to implement STEAM by doing science projects that include measuring density of various materials, creating and studying the states of matter, using triple beam balances to study buoyant force, and designing and testing simple machines.

Students will be able to carry the skills they learn from these lessons for the rest of their lives.

Science supplies are costly but we hope to get quality materials that students will be able to use for years to come. Thank you for considering donating to our science projects, it's greatly appreciated!
