Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is where learning and fun happens. In kindergarten, students are building the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Students learn foundational skills for reading, and by the end of the year, they have picked up this skill and are reading. In math, students are setting the foundation to become proficient math students. My students are curious and come to school excited to learn. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a pencil. Our group loves to play learning games, dance, and play. The binders will be used to save all students work to show their parents and take home at the end of the school year. The manipulatives will be used in centers to reinforce skills and give my students a way to over-learn math and language arts concepts in a fun and engaging way. The LCD tablets will be used in small groups for writing letters and practicing mastering writing their names.
