My Project

The goal of this project is to expand our collection of books that the students love and provide updated versions of our students favorites. Our students love reading and get so excited to pick out a book that they love! We want to have many options for our students and increase their love of learning. Some of the books our students we are requesting are Diary of a Wimpy Kid Box, Elephant and Piggie, graphic novels, Pig the Pug, and the Pigeon collection.

You’re never too young to start the love of learning!

This will be inspired by new selections like Fill a Bucket Book, Rising Above, The Wild Robot, The Unteachables, and other graphic novels we know our students will love.

Another goal of this project is to create centers during library time to help engage students while they may be waiting for their turn to pick a book. The items that would be utilized for this are the Lakeshore Book Bins, magnetic tiles, bubble push pop, and kinetic dominoes.
