Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are four years old and come from a variety of different backgrounds. Each one of them has an Individualized Education Plan in which their goals, services, and additional needs are laid out for the year. While a lot of the goals focus on different academic skills, almost all of my students have a collaborative play goal, where they are working towards playing with their peers (rather than playing alongside them), sharing space and materials, and taking turns with minimal prompting from an adult.

I also hope to provide my students with smaller items like Wash and Dry Dish Set (24 pcs) and Condiments Set (6 pcs) - Play Food, Stainless Steel Caddy to enhance the play spaces I already have.

As you may know, Preschool and good collaborative play can get messy, so I am also asking for items such as a standing vacuum to keep my room in order between classes.

There are so many opportunities for learning through collaborative play and I am so excited to be able to provide my students with new and exciting things for our classroom with the help of amazing donors like you!
