My Project

My students are avid readers. They are constantly asking to read and for new books to put in our classroom library. By receiving new books, my students will be able to work on their reading skills, at different levels, and will be able to have a range of genres/themes that fit their preferences. By having some historical fiction books added in there, students will get to read about events that align with what we learn, while still reading something that entertains them.

My goal for this project is to have several new and exciting additions to our classroom library, letting my students have a larger range of books to read and choose from.

By giving my students even more books to choose from, I can help those students who don't like reading quite as much, find a book that may ignite that spark for wanting to read.

My students are special, because they are a group of students who love to read. They constantly ask me to read and are always asking for me to find them new books. Seeing 9 and 10 year old kids be so passionate about reading is inspiring and I would love to help them keep that passion for reading by being able to expand our library regularly.
